a lire et juger par soi meme,,pour ma part j ai aimé etant fort croyante ,je me pose des questions et je m instruis par les livres,,le reste c est a vous de voir ,,,,,,
grande attente, sans surprise d'AMORC, il manque Jésus dit le Nazaréen né 115 ans avant notre hère. un très grand document pour celui qui recherche la vérité. Conseillé à tous les occidentaux.
c'est un livre que j'ai déjà lu, mais que j'avais perdu, je discute souvent avec des amis et je le leur ai conseillé, c'est d'ailleurs pour cette raison que je l'ai à nouveau dans ma bibliothèque, très intéressant, jésus était un homme comme un autre avec une vie de famille.
Peut-être ce qui manque aux autres versions de la vie de Jésus.Livre à recommander.Se lit facilement et amène un autre aperçu sur cette époque;
Harvey Spencer Lewis (1883-1939) was a Rosicrucian leader, who was the founder in the U.S. of the Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis (AMORC), and its leader from 1915 until his death. He also wrote The Mystical Life of Jesus.He wrote in the Preface to this 1937 book, "the Christian movement in the past centuries has deliberately or unconsciously evaded... the brothers and sisters of Jesus being members of His secret, private school. Are we giving too much emphasis to this relationship and to these heretofore veiled incidents of His life? We think not... And if it appears that the author of this book is going too far in giving emphasis to any possible secret meetings of a private school of discipleship, let it be kept in mind that the Bible itself is the very best authority for such statements and goes far indeed in giving emphasis to the fact that Jesus taught the multitudes in one manner, taught an outer circle of private students in another manner, and intimately taught and instructed an inner, private school in still another manner. And, we have the repeated statements of Jesus that the great mysteries, the great secrets which He taught to the few in His private discourses and secret meetings, were not suceptible of revelation to the multitudes..." (Pg. 19-21)He suggests, "That Jesus possessed some rare, secret, divine, or spiritual, as well as semi-scientific knowledge that enabled Him to perform miracles and to convey this secret knowledge and power to others is also unmistakable if we give careful consideration or acceptance to many of the passages in the New Testament." (Pg. 24) Later, he adds, "It is true, however, that as the Christian religion became systematized, ritualized and modernized, the transcendental mysteries which Jesus came to earth to reveal... became LOST to the outer circle of membership fo the early Christian church, and finally unknown even to the most advanced and proficient creators and teachers of the Christian gospels." (Pg. 75-76) Nevertheless, he states, "We can find the whole story of the secret mission of Jesus, the secret school, His secret Disciples and their secret activities, in the Gospels of the New Testament." (Pg. 107)He states, "From all of the ancient records dealing with the organization and maintenance of secret schools we cannot doubt that there were an equal number of men and women among the students of this Christian school, and that, except for the degree of Apostleship limited to the Twelve by the codes and customs and regulations of the country, Jesus would have given to such women as were qualified, equal power and authority with the men." (Pg. 158)He argues, "To demand that a book such as this, or such as 'The Mystical Life of Jesus,' should have every statement conform to the statements in the Christian Bible means that the author should have merely rewritten the Christian Bible in precisely its same words or written nothing at all! Such an attitude would exclude the possibility of any new light ever being cast upon the manifold mysteries which surround the life and teachings of Jesus the Christ." (Pg. 154) He admits, "I trust that I have given sufficient Biblical evidence of a unique fellowship or society, to satisfy even the most analytical student of the Bible. But I have no hope of having satisfied the average Christian clergyman or priest." (Pg. 169)Though more than 75 years old, this book may still interest those looking for more "esoteric" versions of Jesus and his teachings.
